Is it Cheating?

This is our first minisode. We use the minisodes to answer email questions sent to me by our listeners.

The first email is from Madison, and the subject line reads "Is it cheating?" Madison writes:

Subject: Is it cheating?

Hey Jon,

My boyfriend and I got in an argument about what he does on Instagram. He follows bikini models and girls who dress slutty, and I say that's cheating. He thinks it's okay, and I'm being too sensitive.

I initially picked this question because it was funny, and I thought it was a joke. But I started to give it more thought, and I talked to more people about it, and this is really a social media relationship issue. Sorry guys, but I mean this is a chance for couples to discuss their relationship - to have that talk. This is one of those times where couples actually need to talk about is it okay to follow or "like" anybody? Most of the people I've talked to said "yeah, no big deal." But now there's a line of is it okay to DM random girls? Now that starts to cross a "creepy" line, where most women are not okay with that.

So the short answer to the question is: it's not cheating, but the answer is different for each couple - you have to talk about it.
