Must I be able to meet with you in person at your office for you to represent me? Of course not, this is 2024.
While it is nice to meet personally with a prospective client before they engage us to represent them, it is not always practicable to have a face-to-face meeting before we start working together. A decade ago, few law firms and potential clients had access to video conferencing facilities. Now, almost everyone has access to FaceTime or Zoom. Technological advances enable us to communicate face-to-face without being in the same room. Covid has taught us this lesson.
