Lizzy Sharer — From Carnegie Mellon to YouTube Star

Our interview of Lizzy Sharer for “The Creative Influencer” podcast is available today for download on iTunes.  Liz shares her thoughts on growing a YouTube following. In the nine months since she started her YouTube channel, Liz has attracted 1.5 million subscribers and over 210 million video views. Did I mention that she is really smart? The Dangers of Instagram

My privacy on social media never really used to concern me when I had a smaller following. I used to post photos of myself with my friends and family, even tagging locations sometimes. Privacy is like Toothpaste

My lack of privacy on social media concerns me. I realize that once something is "out" it's OUT; kind of like toothpaste, in that what has been squeezed out, can't be pushed back in.
